First, the good: I love the selection of items at Wheatsville Co-op, especially their kimchi, which I keep coming back for. The staff is always eager to assist when you need help, and the variety is fantastic. Now, the not-so-good: I’ve had a few odd interactions with staff, including one where a cashier spoke to me with the assumption that I didn’t speak English and started speaking slowly — it was a bit strange and made me uncomfortable. Needless to say, after that interaction, I didn’t want to return, but I decided to give it another shot. Since then, I’ve realized that it’s really a hit or miss. Compared to other stores, their customer service isn’t as strong. The staff doesn’t always come across as friendly, and at times they seem a bit overworked. That being said, I’ve also had some great experiences with cashiers who were super friendly and welcoming. Overall, the assistance is available when you need it, and they do try their best to help.

I just “invested” to be part of owners program here and feel so much happy as from a loyal customer to a supporter to amazing local businesses and farmers like Wheatville community ❤️I truly wish everyone can come and build it so we have more Wheatville stores in Austin and even other cities as customers deserve it - wonderful selection, warmest staff, awesome vibe! Please dont shop at monopoly supermarkets but support farmers markets and join the co op so you can see then love the difference ❤️ p.s its also very family friendly lounge with kids corner and picture books 🥰

I love my Wheatsville! :) I’ve been getting more politically active and trying to vote with my dollar, and part of that is giving my money to more local businesses and communities! So Ive started getting my groceries almost 100% from Wheatsville, aside from farmers markets! You can really feel the love here, people who work and shop here value community and so everyone is always super nice. It’s so nice to see local farmers and businesses promoted so I can know who made the food I’m eating! Yes, it is more expensive - but I feel like it better reflects the true cost of what things actually take to make, so I’ve made the commitment to be more frugal and find ways to make my food budget stretch while buying less items. Thanks to everyone who works here, especially all the lovely clerks at check-out :)) see yall next time!

Great place. Friend from town invited us here and I love it! The cheese voting station was funny and enjoyable. My husband and I love whole food items with good ingredients and got that here. Will come back here when I visit again.

Sooo thankful for places like this when I’m traveling for work. Their hot food bar can be one of the best in the country (Ive seen dozens of similar places to compare) in terms of taste + nutrition. I rely heavily on spots like this for trusted healthy food when I don’t have a kitchen and don’t trust restaurants (cooking oils, non organic food, e.g.).
