I actually went for a walk and its beautiful. Set backs are this homeless camp close by also homeless often park on street in front leaving their garbage and drug paraphernalia ! ( As of 2025 this has been resolved )

Was a beautiful quite place of peace. I did how come once and it was blocked off for and event, and the second time the Littles were on a field trip, but I enjoyed it. No parking from 10pm to 5 or 6 am or you will be towed away. I do not think you can eat from this water but I believe people sport fish for carp here. Check portland parks and recreation for details. Have fun.

It's a lovely place to visit. It's a spot where wildlife is surrounded by loud industry but have this little safe spot for to live in. Dogs aren't allowed, even on a leash because it's a refuge and scent marking from dogs is disruptive to the animals that live there. People sometimes dump cats there and they kill the ground nesting birds and the native turtles. There are portable toilets that are rarely cleaned, but there's a nearby Subway and the bathroom is available with a purchase. No playground - it's a nature refuse for wildlife protection. There is a gazebo with three picnic tables.
