This place is horrible. Coffee is horrible. It's not hard to mess up coffee. It's so easy, to make a fresh batch too. Why lie about making some, you can instantly tell if it's not steaming, that it's been sitting there. The most annoying thing, was my mom ordered the Magnificent 7. The waitress brought out the pancakes and bacon. I called the waitress over, and asked where the eggs were. The waitress read the menu to me and said, it was eggs and bacon or bacon and pancakes. I told her, she needed to read the punctuation better. Because a comma meant, you get eggs, bacon or sausage and pancakes. I said the double bacon must have been a typo. Especially since she said eggs and sausage or bacon and pancakes. Why call the plate magnificent 7, if there are not 7 items on the plate? That's the biggest argument. She simply said, idk. I just work here. Some lady that looked like she just rolled out of bed, was messing with the register, and heard everything, said nothing. I'm sure my mom's not the first person to pay more for items, that are missing on their plates. Never go there again. Parking stinks for that area anyway.

While traveling from Florida to Seattle, I missed my Amtrak connection and was stuck in downtown Chicago overnight. I didn't have enough money to pay for an $800 hotel, so I was stuck, a 55yo woman overnight. Being my 1st time in Chicago, alone, well, I think you can understand that I was terrified! The train station closed at midnight and I was overwhelmed. An Amtrak employee told me about the White Palace and I took an Uber there. There were two security guards posted on the door and kept the place safe. The wait staff were so incredibly kind, and knowing my predicament, kept me talking and awake(security would have kicked me out had I dozed off) the food was good and as the sun came up, I got some GREAT pictures of the purple sunrise. All in all they run a tight but great ship, and if you find yourself in the area, (which I have to say, felt like a good safe area) pop your head in and check it out. You won't be sorry!

Premium diner food. Portion sizes are huge. The gravy and cream of broccoli soup were excellent. Decent service, good vibes.

I have a BBQ sandwich, and it’s a little bit to salty for me. But it’s still good. Pancakes with blueberry cost 14.99. The blueberry is great.

This place used to be so good last year, but the most recent time I ordered, there was a hair in my skillet, and the biscuits and gravy made me physically sick. Used to love this place, but definitely not what they used to be.
