Drink prices vary slightly from state to state. The taste is the same, but overall there is not much difference in price, the taste at Xin Fu Tang in Salt Lake City is actually quite good although not as good as in Taiwan but quite good compared to other branches in the US. The space is cozy and elegant, the surrounding customers are also quite polite. Designed and decorated similarly in almost all branches, there are parallel sentences and places to draw cards to ask for fortune telling. Overall everything is pretty good, just a bit difficult to find parking here which makes getting around and shopping a bit inconvenient.

I love Xing Fu Tang, but unfortunately not every store is consistent, so I was a bit worried when I found out Utah had a XFT. FORTUNATELY, it was good! The boba was sweet and chewy, with the perfect texture! I ordered the matcha brown sugar boba milk, and it was heaven. This XFT is huge with a lot of indoor seating to chill with friends. They also have a little “fortune” section. You pull a stick and depending on the number you choose there’s a fortune reading associated with it! The staff were super patient and friendly! I had a fairly sized group who were all very indecisive, but the staff were very helpful giving suggestions and waiting patiently. The only down side is that the drinks are on the pricier side. I upgraded to a large and my total came out to around $8… you are definitely paying for quality, but is it worth is subjective. Parking may also be difficult depending on what time of day you go, but it’s free street parking! Definitely a nice sweet treat!
