I’ve been to quite a few yoga studios over the years up and down the west coast, most recently CorePower in La Mesa, and while it served its purpose, I found myself getting tired of the same routine poses. I was really looking to deepen and advance my practice, so I decided to try something new—and I’m so glad I found YogaBox. From my very first class, I could immediately feel the difference. The flow was more comprehensive, the variety of poses kept things interesting, and the overall energy of the class just felt so much more engaging. It was exactly the kind of challenge and freshness I’d been looking for. The instructors clearly know their stuff and bring a lot of intention to each session. If you’re looking for a studio that goes beyond the basics and helps you grow your practice, I can’t recommend YogaBox enough.

There isn’t a place where I can contact you guys for suggestions, so I’m going to leave a review here. I have never been to a yoga box class. I would like to go, but you don’t offer a heated recovery yoga class. Please consider offering this heated. It’s like a sauna where you can stretch and meditate. So many people want this.

Had such a great experience with my first ever class with Tess W. She made me feel comfortable and not intimidated. She is such a great instructor. She offers help but also respects people's boundaries. I didn't feel judged or critiqued for my lack of knowledge or skills. Left feeling great and I'm considering going back. Thank you Tess for the great experience; you helped me change my views on yoga

Reviewing as a class pass-er. Plenty of parking. Clean inside. Lived that the bathrooms are inside the yoga room (the whole wall in the back of the classroom has bathrooms). There's lockers. You can rent towels. You can also ask for a lock for the locker, but you may not need it, as the instructor locks the doors prior to class start. I did the recovery class. It was 75 minutes of stretching, a sound bath, good visuals, calming background music (minus the clip with a buzzing bug/fly), and aromatics (lemon grass, and a grapefruit/peppermint one). My instructor was David, I liked him. He was nice. I wish I would've listened better when David had explained the yoga straps were on the back corner (not where the blocks were at)- as this prevented me from doing the class with the straps. Either way, pleasant experience. I'd come back.
