This is definitely a gem of Taiwanese food in this area. Such an authentic Taiwanese fried chicken Bento. Fried chicken crunchy outside and moist inside. Super tasty. It is exactly like Taiwan street food. The size of the bento is double size than in Taiwan as well. The side dishes are very good, the soya egg also very tasty too. The whole Bento is just perfect. The price is average. Staff are friendly. Card payment available. There are no seat in front of food truck but plenty of seats at garden. The queue is long at busy hours, but moving fast. Food is. I got the five-piece fried chicken & rice here, and I really enjoyed it Starting off with the fried chicken, I found this to be excellent. It's very well seasoned on the outside, giving it that extra flavor that it doesn't need but will certainly use. Secondly, the breading is top-notch throughout - there's rarely a spot that's lacking; in fact, many spots have that slight bit of extra flakiness to them. While the detail & thickness of the batter isn't up to somewhere like District H, since this is meant to be mixed with rice, the lighter and less crunchy alternative works very well here What impressed me the most about this chicken was how well cooked & juicy it is. It's very difficult to get the internal temperature of fried chicken correctly, but here they managed do it perfectly. The chicken thighs were really juicy, perfectly cooked, and even slightly pink on the inside. While the rice was pretty simple - they did a great job with it. It was basically perfect as the base for the dish. I enjoyed mixing the vegetables and the 1/2 egg into it to come out with a great base. I very much also appreciated the sauces given as an option next to the food truck. Pouring the mayo & chili sauces over the rice, and mixing it in just gave an incredible amount of flavor to each bite. The other fantastic part about this meal was how massive the portion was. The price of around $13 is your standard work lunch pricing, but the amount of food given was significant - particularly the amount of pieces of chicken. I was barely able to finish this meal, and I was full for a long time after that. Overall, this is some really fantastic, relatively healthy food with a great price and a very strong portion size. 9.25/10

It's my new favorite lunch spot! Chicken had a nice light coating with great seasoning, and I'm glad it was dark meat. Carrot/daikon mix was very tasty. I would have preferred the broccoli and veggies served warm instead of cold, but they were still fresh and the whole meal was great. Good price, and not very long wait to order and receive. Disclaimer: the bento in my photo has extra veggies and extra meat.

The only downside is the slightly high prices, though they're comparable to other lunch spots in downtown Seattle. If it weren't for the cost, I would eat lunch here every day. For first-time visitors, I recommend the fried chicken. Asian food enthusiasts will love the Chayi chicken and beef stew.
