Lovely welcoming Ann Arbor area church. Kind and thoughtful pastors who are wonderful at preaching the message of Jesus' love and grace, and always have time to meet visitors. This church is open and affirming to LGBTQ+, has an inclusive staff and leadership, plays an active role in the Ann Arbor community, cares for both the very young and very old, and is doing great things. During the school year, the 9:00 am service is a Traditional Lutheran service, with a 10:10 education/Sunday School hour, and the 11:11 am service is Modern Worship. During summer months, there is an abreviated 8:30 am drive-in service, and a blended worship 10:00 am service inside. Worth the visit!

Big, beautiful church. I saw mostly retired folk. That's fine. Lots to offer. I was a bit put off though. They had a guest female pastor who didn't seem to be treated as welcomed as I've witnessed in other churches. Maybe the male leading pastor was having an off day.
