04.June.2025 Zions Gate Records is a metal head paradise. Just realised all the new titles seemed to be of controlled pricing, regardless of which record store, comparing Zions Gate vs Easy Street. User Experience: I cannot reach the end of the shelves, probably for “Sasquatch-esque” arms.. lol

Came in THE DAY BEFORE an album’s expected release and they already had it in stock on the floor! Great selection of both used and new records. Very well laid out store, organized and easy to navigate through and around. Super helpful staff if you need it, also not pushy at all if you don’t. Picked up Goose’s newest studio album “Everything Must Go” (LE/2000), they had three copies.

Vast selection, but some of the worst pricing I've seen for new vinyl and merchandise. They were scalping new releases from smaller record labels. If you want new releases, I'd reccomend just purchasing from the label

Great shop full of fantastic music. The records and tapes on offer are organized in a way that makes it extremely easy to find what you're looking for and the staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. Bought myself a worthy souvenir from Seattle and I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in town.

Hear me out guys. The selection is great here, especially with regards to the metal section, but these prices are utterly incomprehensible. There are so many albums I could find $10-20 cheaper on Discogs AFTER TAX AND SHIPPING! Sometimes, I do find a fair price here, but more often than not, I don't. Spin Cycle is fair, Wall of Sound is fair, Royal Records is fair, Singles Going Steady is fair. So why is it so expensive here?
