Never going back again 🚫 This place was awesome when they first opened—I literally raved about how great they were. Less than two years later, they’re terrible. The environment is unsafe and unsanitary, the customer service has tanked, and as another customer previously mentioned, the staff are rough and rush through the work. I went today to get an overlay—the technician cut me four times. I was bleeding, and she kept polishing my nails like she didn’t even see the blood. I was disgusted by how unsanitary that was. The last time I went for a pedicure, the owner was in the back room smoking cigarettes. They won’t see another dollar of my money. Do yourself a favor and find a sanitary location. Mark does great shape work—he was the only reason I ever went—but there are thousands of other nail technicians in this city. It’s not worth risking my health and safety.

I’ve been coming here regularly for about a year. PROS: Mark is pretty consistent and meticulous. My nails always come out decently and Mark is usually pretty good about respecting your appointment time (which means that he relies on you respecting his time as well). But my experiences here have been a bit hit or miss, as I describe in the cons below. That being said, the atmosphere is great—the salon is relatively new, always clean, the inside is spacious and beautiful, and the people here are generally very polite. There can be a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff but you don’t get the sense they’re talking badly about you. A decent option if you’re in the area. CONS: I’ve only felt like he rushed through my services a couple of times. The last couple of times he nicked me pretty good (one time he drew blood from my toe, the other time from a finger) and was hardly apologetic. I expected some kind of price adjustment at the least, since there was no apology to be had. Nope. I also question the quality of the nail polishes they use in the “book” of colors. Never had my nail polish peel off from a gel overlay before—and I’m talking from multiple nails. I have been getting my nails done regularly for years now, so I have the maintenance part down. Similarly, when I showed Mark the result, he was very unamused and far from apologetic. No difference in price there either. Obviously the pros outweigh the cons for me, and I’ll keep coming here for the foreseeable future.
