I have been coming to J Blossom for about 2 years. It is a few blocks from my apartment which makes it super convenient. They have great hours, accept all walk-ins, and have a huge variety of colors. Amazing, right? Unfortunately, I recently had a terrible experience in which I will not be a returning client. So, I have always gotten no-chip manicures and have never had a problem anywhere else. (I also do not have a lifestyle/job where my nails would chip/peel/crack this easily) However, last week I got one before my vacation and they chipped/peeled within 3 days! When I returned from vacay, I went to the salon to tell them about my issue and they graciously offered to re-do them for me. They looked great, HOWEVER two days later they chipped again!?? Very upsetting experience, and not worth paying the money if they chip within days of getting done!? I will sadly have to part ways from J Blossom and go to a salon where their no-chip manicures last more than a few days..

I was looking for a walk-in appointment around 5ish and was so grateful that they take me in last minute. May did an excellent job designing the nail art and was very patient and sophisticated with all the details. Just a peak of the design and she knows immediately what you want. Very professional and a 5 star on the speed! If you are looking for a nail artist who does all the intricate design within a short time, you should go to May! 10/10 ⭐️ experience, would definitely go back!

I went to get my nails done. The first lady repeatedly made mistakes she had to keep correcting on my feet and hands. Then she put me under the nail dryer with high heat which caused all my nail polish to bubble. After I complained another lady then rushed and took all the polish off my hands and redid it but clearly rushed and did not do enough coats so the polish was see through. I had already been there for 2.5 hours and could not wait to have my nails redone for a third time so I just left. It’s been less than a week and my nails are already chipping. I do a better job myself at home. I won’t be returning.

The top of my nails look great, but the underside is ugly. I paid $110 for this. For that price, it should be flawless. I asked for an acrylic set removal and new set. She removed the old and started to do Gel X. I stopped her and said I asked for acrylic. But apparently they ‘don’t do that here’ (why not tell me when I checked in?). So I had to do Gel X, which is overpriced given how lazy the service is. I don’t recommend this place.

Part of me wanted to keep this gem a secret but I owe it to the ladies at J’s Blossom for my lovely AND healthy nails and will share the details of my go-to spot. Great for those with hectic schedules: I always call ahead (15-20 min before) to see how busy they are and there’s only been two occurrences where they recommended coming by in an hour because they were busy. When I stop in, I’m usually seated within a min or most after 5-7 minutes. Great for introverts: On my busier days, it’s such a great place to get your nails done by professionals. They are talkative if you’d like to chat but most times I can sit back and unwind. Excellent service: I’ve gotten different foot spa treatments, the last one had some volcano treatment and brought my aching feet to life. I’ve never had complaints with the manicures and tend to get Gel-X or the new rave, Hard Gel. What I loved most is that each nail tech will take the time to look at your nails and offer advice or recommendations. I ended up switching from Dip to Hard Gel and it was a good call. Professional setting: Although parking may to be tight, the nail salon has upgraded seats and the pedicure seats has a massage function. I’d say it’s one of the nicer salons in the area.
