I've only ever seen this park from the road as I drive by, but let me tell you, it is quite a marvel. One of the coolest "secrets" of downtown. I am not brave enough to take on those jumps, but I'm sure if you do and you end up breaking a bone or two, there will be plenty of nice riders there to assist you in getting the medical help you will certainly need, haha. What a great place for kids/teens and adult riders alike! Don't forget your helmets!

I've had the pleasure of rebuilding this iconic spot for the last month and a half that's been here for 30 years. The Austin bike scene is the absolute best I can admit with the best hospitality known to man if you know trail etiquette. The last 30 years this place has seen so many humans, young, and old, beginner to pro and the best thing is that this place is rider built and rider maintained. See we build this place with our bare hands and put our blood sweat and tears into building our own fun. There are rules to this place... They are on the signs placed by the sidewalk. I will put this in capital letters because some people don't understand too well. THIS PLACE IS MADE FOR BICYCLES. THIS PLACE IS NOT MADE FOR RENTAL SCOOTERS, SKATEBOARDS AND MOTORIZED BIKES... IF YOU RIDE A SURRON, YOUR ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE IS NOT A BICYCLE... LOOK DOWN THERE IS NO PEDALS. Ok so enough of the capital letters. Please don't ride in the mud. We spend a lot of time building the jumps so they are not bumpy. If you ride in the mud it dries to a huge tire print. That turns into a huge bump that could cause a wreck. This concludes this public service announcement
