Just wanted to give a shout out to an awesome employee at Ace Hardware on Stadium. A wonderful individual helped me put a couple of deck chairs in my vehicle. They did not fit that well, and it took awhile to make it work. She spent about 30 minutes helping me and was super patient. I think her name was Hailey but not 100 percent sure. Amazing customer service!

I tried. I really tried. First I placed an online order only for it to be cancelled. Then I physically went to the store because the website showed 6 of the item I wanted in stock. Wandered around for 10 minutes looking for it. Finally broke down and asked for help. The lady that tried to help me was nice. She looked it up on their computer and verified that there were supposed to be six of them in stock but she also couldn't find them. Told me that it happens a lot. I gave up. Went home and ordered it from Amazon. Had it yesterday next day. Sad.

Unfortunately very poor interaction with staff (Mike) regarding buying a Big Green Egg. After ordering online, acehardware.com, which is a separate corporate entity from the franchise stores, cancelled the order because they couldn't get the BGE sale package together. Their customer service, no joke, advised after an hour on the phone that I barter with the store manager to get the online deal from individual items. I contacted the store and was ultimately directed to Mike who did some digging. After calling back, he said that my order was cancelled because the credit card was "no good". The card was fine, the website actually flagged the purchase and cancelled it twice. I explained that. He was not interested. He ultimately gave me a tough luck speech and when I questioned why the store and website were unable to address this gap in providing the purchase, he hung up. If your primary customer interactions are from aged boomers who don't give a damn about customer satisfaction, rethink your corporate strategy because it is terrible. This company can do way better. They get 1 star because I can't give 0.
