One of Portland’s oldest running concert venues. Relatively small so everything feels pretty intimate compared to stadium shows and some of the bigger venues. Good sound great sidelines and good beer. Prices are reasonable for tickets and you can buy tickets at the box office and avoid extra charges. FYI – for sold out shows, parking can be problematic. Mass transit and car services might be a better bet than driving around in circles in a tiny little streets. Also, there’s a couple of good restaurants nearby to make a night of it. Highly recommend !

Saw Reggie Watts and it was a great show. There was a busker playing saxophone outside the venue until doors opened, the staff are super chill and competent, from security to bartenders, no stress, no ego. Sound and light engineers were top notch. I called the Aladdin earlier in the week to confirm that the resale tickets I bought were valid, and they called me back within 10 minutes and were great. The drinks are affordably priced, and they have a good non-alcoholic selection too, plus I think pizza, assorted snacks, and cookies? The theater seating was comfy and in good shape too. The crowd was mellow and fun and there were people masking as well as not masking, so do what works for you and yours. There's balcony and floor seating, and floor space for a dance area or orchestra that they had folding chairs in for this show, which was sold as all GA so early bird gets to pick their seats! No complaints! Will definitely see a show again.

Went to the theater for Tamino concert and it was wonderful. They had standing area in front of the seats so be aware to maybe sit back so people won’t block your view. The theater is beautiful too. The only issue could be parking. We had to park 2 blocks away.

This is a relatively intimate venue, where I have seen various different performers. I appreciate that they often have a space in front of the stage for people to hang out and dance for music performances. Apparently, if you hang out in their pub before the show you may be first in line for general admission shows. That apparently happened at the show I went to recently, where I stood out in near freezing conditions only to find that there were a bunch of people already seated-- including those that I saw go into the pub-- by the time I got in.

This is a lovely old theatre! Very good acoustics and small venue so every seat has a great view. We saw Blind Boys of Alabama. Amazing show!
