The Fourteen Year Old and I got to be Stage Crew (for Video) at the Cascade Blues Association Fundraiser. This is her first time volunteering on a video project. She got her own lanyard and everything. Some of these performers were amazing by the way. That’s Tevis Hodge Jr. doing a sound check. Highly recommend. Thankful for this opportunity.

Another candlelight concert in the books hosted by this cute little theater. A friendly team is there to greet you. Food and drink options are available. We attended a ballet this evening. I love the intimacy of this vintage theater.

The seats are horrible, definitely need updated. Short back, bottom fold up style. The legs stick out too far and are a trip hazard - ask how I know 🥲 No space to scoot past people, everyone has to get out of the isle. In sure it’s super uncomfortable for any ++size person. We are XL/XXL and while we were ok there wasn’t any room, and a guy in front of us had to have two seats- though I don’t think the armrests go up. Stage is well visible through all the seats. Bar area in the back isn’t in the best position for line formation.

Music 5 stars, seating in A section 1 star! Would definitely sit in Section B next time.

I really liked the staff, location, view and sound of the Alberta Rose Theater. The two bathrooms are the only negative thing about the place. Beverage service was fast and prices are fair. Selection is good. Nearby restaurants and food trucks offer a wide variety of ethnic foods at reasonable price. Parking available in nearby neighborhoods.
