We visited Alki Beach Park on a Saturday afternoon, and it was the perfect way to enjoy the weekend! The weather was absolutely beautiful—sunny skies, gentle breeze, and ideal for soaking up some much-needed vitamin D. Like us, many others were out enjoying the day, with plenty of people sunbathing, playing, or just relaxing on the beach. The atmosphere was lively yet laid-back, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or spend time with family. We didn’t do much besides walk along the beach and take in the views, but that alone made for a wonderful experience. The scenic waterfront, cozy vibe, and stunning views of the water and mountains make this park truly special. Those who live nearby are lucky to have such a gem right in their neighborhood. We’d definitely love to come back again! Cheers! 🏖️☀️🥂

Always one of my favorite spots in Seattle! The weather was wonderful and traffic was great. There were people having BBQ and playing sand volleyball. The waves were huge as it’s a low tide day. Very cool to see how the stairs were revealed! I could also spot tiny space needle from the beach! Very peaceful.

It's a long stretch of sandy beach and a place where you can view downtown Seattle, the Olympic Mountains and Ferry Boats. Street parking is limited and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The water is cold & has seaweed but on a hot day this is a beautiful and fun place to picnic, bbq, and swim.

Alki Beach is one of my favorite spots in Seattle! The views are incredible — you can see downtown Seattle, the Olympic Mountains, and amazing sunsets. There’s so much to enjoy: wildlife sightings like seals, porpoises, and sometimes even whales, plus cruise ships passing by. The fishing pier is a great spot to relax, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. One cool feature is the speed ferry that takes you right across the water to downtown Seattle — super convenient and scenic. Alki also has a vibrant mix of people and cultures, which makes the atmosphere fun and welcoming. The only downsides are the limited parking and some cars speeding through with loud engines, which can be a bit disruptive. Still, it's absolutely worth a visit. Just plan ahead and come early if you want a good parking spot!

I am from the east coast but was in Seattle on business trip, this beach was cool. Very long with an incredibly nice, pretty waterfront town and plenty of places to eat. Also a great view of the city with the Space Needle in the distance. The one difference in Seattle's beaches compared to east coast is that they don't exactly have blankets of sand like ours, more like a lot of little rocks, but the environment and vibes are way better than east coast. Ocean City and Rehoboth can't beat Alki. Highly recommend.
