Loved the piece I got and the employees were super helpful in getting it loaded. However, they charge an additional fee for using a credit card, which is fine when it’s not an additional $45 on a $430 purchase. Credit card transactions, while costing a business more to accept over cash, don’t cost anywhere near that much (you pay the processor per transaction, not on the total amount). I feel like there should be a $10 cap on the fee or something. I paid it because I really really loved the piece but I probably won’t come back here knowing that’s how they charge for things. Also the piece I bought was definitely brought in as a single piece but they split it and charged per piece, which made it higher than I felt it should have been at a thrift store. I still paid less than I would have had it been at an antique store, but the whole practice felt like taking advantage of the customers.

I used to live in the area and loved PTO then. Love PTO now! Was there last week. A very busy reuse store. I'm amazed how busy it is. Parking is always full. The store is nicely organized into areas: Men's, Women, Housewares, Furniture, Books, etc. Residents and students of AA donate wonderful items. PTO keeps things at bargain prices (Unlike Goodwill just around the corner). I advise taking your time at the jewelry counter. Some real values there!

I love the way they organize this place. It's broken down into product type such as kitchen, crafts, furniture, and clothing. They also have a second store on site with just vintage items which is cool! My first time, I was surprised at how large it was. Very deceiving just to look at it from the street. Next visit I'll have to set aside more time. I didn't notice in the first store, but I did notice in the vintage section to check the date on the price tag. Anything over 30 days old and you're entitled to a discount! Sweet

I love this place and want to leave a 5 star review, but they don't have a public toilet and that's just not right for accessibility reasons. I would spend hours (and more dollars) at this store if they had a restroom. A have condition that requires me to frequently take potty breaks and it's very difficult to shop here because of the lack of public toilet. Please at least allow those with disabilities (and yes, even invisible ones like mine) and children to use your restroom. You're such a cool store otherwise! Please fix this issue!!!

PTO is a fun little thrift store. I've found some great things here. They have a slightly "higher end" second space down from the main entrance that sometimes has some really nice pottery. I don't usually go here on my own, but I'll accompany my significant as a weekend activity. I've found Brooks Brothers ties with the tags still on for $1 etc. You just never know... Also the revenue benefits the public schools so that's an added bonus. My only word of caution is that if you are allergic to dust/dander you are going to want to make it a quick visit or plan on a quick shower after you return home.
