We just got back from a 6 day 5 night trip with ARR and it was the most unique, memorable and amazing trip! Honestly this trip has been a bucket list trip for us for years and I'm so glad we finally did it! It exceeded all my expectations and I have to say there is truly no better way to experience and fall in love with the Grand Canyon. I want to give a shout out to Tristan, Jason, Mike and Jaime. These guys are the BEST! They are so friendly and knowledgeable. Its obvious they love there jobs and the Canyon and the river life. They are so authentic and it made the trip rhat much better because of it. They treat each other and other guides on the river like family, and then welcomed us 23 strangers on the trip to be part of it. They know so much history, they share great stories and have first hand knowledge of the canyon to share. They took such good care of us! The food was amazing, meeting new people, and sharing this experience with them was so unique and cool. If you are on the fence about this trip and reading this, I'm am telling you its worth it! Just do it. I personally will never forget this experience. "Rim world vs Real world"? I know what I'd choose😉!

This trip was a "bucket list" trip! We had an amazing experience! From the private flight to the ranch, the time at the ranch, the helicopter flight into the Canyon, the rafting and camping, and the air boat ride to the charter bus back to the hotel, Arizona River Runners and Canyon Ministries treated us to a dream come true! I was awed by the immensity of the Canyon! I thoroughly enjoyed camping in the open under the blanket of stars! The rafting itself was phenomenal! I learned so much from Teddy, Forrest, Paige, and Karina, our River Runner guides! They made everything so much fun! I really enjoyed the side hikes. I am especially glad that I was able to hike to the waterfall! That felt like a personal victory. Thank you for making this trip possible for me and my family.

To keep a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review with this many reviews is impressive! It feels like there is no reason to leave another review 😂 but this company deserves it. We went on the three day trip with our Host Kelly. From the moment we met him we felt more excited for the trip. He was an outstanding host! Our captains Marcus and Jason were also tremendous throughout the trip. All I can say is we cannot believe all we experienced in three days. Planes, helicopters, ranch stay, waterfalls, beautiful canyon views, food and hospitality. We loved it so much we will be doing the six day trip! I would highly recommend using Arizona River Runners for your Grand Canyon rafting adventures.

We just returned from a phenomenal rafting trip with Arizona River Runners, and it’s hard to put into words how truly magical the experience was. From the moment we met our crew, we felt completely supported, welcomed, and ready for adventure. The entire ARR team was professional, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our guide Nicole was an absolute standout: knowledgeable, grounded, and fun, and she made every moment on the river feel both safe and unforgettable. The scenery was beyond anything we imagined, the rapids were thrilling but manageable, and the sense of camaraderie built among guests and guides was a true highlight. The logistics were smooth, the gear top-notch, and the food far exceeded expectations (seriously, how do they do that in the middle of the canyon?). It’s the kind of trip that changes you a little. We came away feeling connected to the land, the river, and the people we shared it with. We’re already talking about coming back for a longer trip (likely the 6-day) because ARR made such an impression. I’ve done a lot of travel, and this was hands-down one of the best organized and most meaningful experiences I’ve ever had. I would recommend Arizona River Runners in a heartbeat. That said, I do want to offer some feedback on one part of the experience: the final night at Bar 10 Ranch. During the Western-themed evening, the staff played “Proud to Be an American” by Lee Greenwood and asked everyone to stand for the flag. The moment felt divisive and out of place, and it left us, and others, feeling quite uncomfortable. Making guests stand for a flag ceremony in a leisure setting departs from the intent of the U.S. Flag Code (Title 4, Section 9), which reserves that kind of formal gesture for official observances. In this case, it felt forced and exclusionary, rather than unifying. It was also made clear that attendance at the evening show was necessary to receive important departure instructions for the next morning. While technically you could leave after those announcements, it would have felt awkward. The ranch sits on the ancestral lands of the Southern Paiute people, and this could have been a meaningful opportunity to acknowledge that history with a tribute rooted in respect, inclusivity, and shared reflection. While the rafting portion was nothing short of extraordinary, I wouldn’t recommend the 3-day version of this trip to friends (as long as Bar10 Western Show is included as is), many of whom come from marginalized communities or international backgrounds. But we will absolutely be back, just on the 6-day itinerary without the Bar 10 segment. Arizona River Runners is exceptional, and we’re so grateful for the memories they helped create.

IThis was my first time going down the "river"! I had the most amazing time with an outstanding crew. My fellow rafters were such an interesting and friendly group of people, who I hope to keep in touch with. The teams on our boats were professional, funny, entertaining, knowledgeable about the canyon, knowledgeable about the river and anything you could possibly want to know about your trip. I have told my family and my friends that this 7 day trip is woth taking! I know Ill be back for a second time. Thanks again to all of you ( you know who you are 😉) who made this trip unforgettable.♡
