They are supposed to charge me on the 12th. K went yesterday and it said there was a problem with my payment so I paid even though it was before the 12th. And then it said the same so I paid again and then the third time told me the same. This third time I didn't pay but I was charged twice in my bank account. I just tried now and it kept telling me that same thing. I think this bicycles aren't for me anymore. It's a shame, it was for me the best experience in Austin... until no of course.

Generally a good experience, but because the bikes in stock are never guaranteed, it can sometimes mean you wont find any or they're completely our of charge.

Riders can easily check out a bike using the CapMetro Bikeshare app, then return it at any other station, allowing for point-to-point trips or loop rides. This means friends can disperse after a ride to individual destinations or regroup easily at planned stops across the city. Group members who prefer shorter rides can dock and recheck bikes as needed without disrupting the group's rhythm. The availability of electric bikes levels the physical demands on the group, ensuring no one feels left behind and increasing the overall enjoyment. Additionally, the extensive network of stations near university campuses and downtown hubs ensures that no matter where your group begins or aims to end, there’s convenient access nearby.

For newcomers, detailed guides and customer service hotlines ease the rental process. Safety is enhanced with bikes designed and supplied by industry leaders, equipped with modern technology including e-assist motors, lights, and reliable locking mechanisms. Moreover, the electric bikes still require pedaling, which means riders get exercise but with automated motor assistance when needed, making rides smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.
