The best summer intensive my daughter had ever! Exposed to a number of dance styles, taught by outstanding teachers and also focusing on ballet at the same time. Many opportunities to perform at events and compete in the international competition if that is something your child is interested in.

My daughter had an incredible opportunity to participate at Ballet Institute of San Diego summer intensive this summer. This outstanding ballet school provides students an opportunity to work with incredible talented teachers (Ms. Egle Spokaite, Ms. Beatrice Tomaseviciene) who have enormous understanding of fundamental principles of Classical dance. Meeting Ms. Egle Spokaite was life turning point in my daughter’s life. Ms. Egle in not only well known notable formal principal ballerina for the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre but an extraordinary teacher and human being. She cares deeply about every student at BISD! Ms. Egle helps dancers to overcome physical or emotional challenges, struggles and fairs. With her care and support she leads dancers to their highest potential. With Egle’s warmth personality, deepest passion for ballet and her essential knowledge each dancer is challenged to improve basic techniques, coordination, confidence, dynamic, stretching, proper flexibility and range of motion. My daughter evolved and improved tremendously as a dancer and got remarkable life long lessons from Ms. Egle and Ms. Beatrice this summer. She got to know beautiful and extremely talented dancers who became her friends. We highly recommend everyone who have an opportunity to join Ballet Institute of San Diego and get this incredible ballet teaching experience! We’ll see you all back next summer inntensive!

Our Two daughters, ages 5 and 7., have been attending this school for almost a year now. The owner, Miss Egle is amazing! She cares deeply about all the students and pushes them to be the best they can. She does this in a loving and caring way and is extremely aware at what age a child should be at certain stages and how to teach and coach them individually. Most importantly, she is great at including everyone and making them feel important. On top of this, she is a world renowned ballet dancer who also started the largest ballet school in her home country. Her resume is awesome. The rest of the staff there is wonderful also, including Miss Hannah, our daughter's other teacher/coach. The girls love performing at the multiple shows put on per year and are gaining so much confidence and love for ballet. I highly recommend The Ballet Institute of SD.
