I came in for a bike rental for my wife and me on Sunday afternoon. My wife has been very hesitant to ride a bike because she didn’t ride much during childhood. Anyways, I looked up a variety of bike places around Dallas and this one stood out for its great Google reviews and for its closeness to White Rock Lake. If I were just judging this store based off the bike (great bikes), ease to rent the bike, and location (very close and convenient to bike around White Rock Lake), this would be 5 stars. However, for pricing, it was $162.38 to rent two bikes for 1.5 hours. That seemed insane to me. We could get a very nice dinner at a great restaurant for leas than that. Another bike shop said you could rent bikes from them for $20-30/hour, and I wrongly assumed this bike shop had similar pricing. It was late in the day and I had finally convinced my wife to just try to bike, that I just paid the high price. And to be fair, the store employee said they only do 24 hour rentals. They don’t do hourly rentals. So it may have been a great deal if I lived nearby and we could just bring the bikes home and ride an extended time during the 24 hour period. However, if you’re just trying to rent a bike for an hour or two, don’t go here if you don’t want to pay $162.38.

She assembled and mounted the car bike carrier and loaded the bike for me. It was a 100% customer-centered experience. A few months later I attended the basic maintenance class and learned very useful information in a relaxed environment.
