Bridge of hope offers a food bank walk up service every friday. Its pretty busy with lots of folks needed respite from soaring grocery prices and the rising cost of everything due to the weaponisation of tariffs tariffs tariffs. The way it works here is by registration. If its your first time you need to register with them, just find the tables inside the lot down the driveway. Be prepared to answer a few questions, show your Identification card and take a photo. A registration card is given to you with your photo on it if approved and you'll be assigned a color. The different colors denote which line or group you're in and the queue is down by color. But dont worry, each color group has a time slot so you can just come at your designated time. Parking can be tricky given the nature of Fairmount Ave having an island separating the two directions of traffic and also its a highly traveled road where folks are often driving too fast. Bring an umbrella if its super sunny out to give yourself some shade. Bring bags or a hand cart or wagon as they load you up with lots of food.

Food bank that provides food every Friday at 11:30am. If it's your first time arrive at 10:30 to get your ID you must show to recieve food. They coordinate the ID'S by colors and that determines your place in line. Bring 2 plastic bags with you as they do not provide them. Someone in line was kind enough to give them to me. Fruits, vegetables, pork, eggs, bread, begals, ect
