Been going here since I was a kid. The large grassy field by the parking lot is nice for soccer, frisbee, whatever you want. There are trails for a little bit of hiking amongst the trees, also trails that are close to the beach. The beach is pretty and full of sea life, especially at low tide. Just be aware that there is a sewage drain that leads to the ocean there, so I don't recommend going in the water because it's going to be freezing cold anyway (this is Seattle we're talking about). The beach is mostly sand but gets rocky the closer you go to the water, and there are large logs to sit and walk on. The park is pretty and I definitely recommend it for families as there are many places to barbecue and get together.
