Great Chinese spot in Denver. Has lots of authentic and classic items to choose from at a good price and great portions. The sesame chicken was delicious and tender, and the spicy garlic eggplant was super spicy. Has a very fast paced environment but a decent amount of seating available. A good spot to go to if you’re craving some Chinese dishes and want to go a step above Panda Express.

I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 as I have recieved better food in the past from here. Last night's order was terrible. The orange chicken tasted very heavy on the grease like it had been fried twice and it was over cooked. The chicken fried rice was also very small and had what looked like frozen chicken from the schools lunch room in it. Over all my husband and I still don't feel well today due to all the grease. I won't be ordering from here again. Price was also very high even in today's world. Do yourself a favor and eat from home.

Delicious with a wide variety of options! The only Chinese restaurant my very picky Asian parents will go to in Boulder. My favorites are the mapo tofu and the spicy beef with veggies. And noodles!

I have been coming here for 30+ years. I love the sesame chicken and shrimp in Lobster sauce. China gourmet is the best Chinese food in Boulder and beyond. Highly recommended, simple, the best!

Just not good. It’s expensive and you can’t order veggies or noodles cause they are not good and lack flavor. We ordered Mongolian Beef and it was practically ALL onion, very little beef for about $20. The only thing worth getting was the orange chicken and even that was mediocre at best.
