I have recently completed my Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Administration at Colorado Free University. My experience has been nothing less than phenomenal. I've just finished my third Spanish class with Colorado Free University and it's been great. I've signed up for my fourth already. The two teachers I've had are both amazing, Cecilia Goins and Bill Weller. The prices are much lower than other options for the amount of class time you receive. The classes are very fun and I've learned a lot. I highly recommend.

I am going into my final year of law school and will be a student attorney in the immigration clinic. The professors I had last semester were unequivocal about the imporatnce of speaking Spanish in the practice of immigration and asylum law in Colorado. Someone on the Aurora subreddit suggested Colorado Free University after I asked about Spanish classes for adults. I checked with local community colleges but the only language classes they offered were online, and it was important to me to find something in-person. I had a couple of "false starts" boning up on my French during the pandemic, and learning language is by its very nature a communal experience. Today was my last day of the Spanish Intensive 1&2 course with Professor Diego Ceron, and it was some of the best time and money I have spent on education in general - including law school. If you can swing the intensive, I definitely recommend it - I learned more in two weeks of daily classes for a few hours than I did in five years of college French. Professor Ceron is patient, flexible, knowledgable and funny. The course provides two text booklets which the instructor supplemented with fun additions like songs, children's books, television show clips. I did not even know there was a clock in the room because I never looked at it. Can't wait for future classes!

I have taken several Spanish classes with Colo Free University and have always had great experiences, their teachers are knowledgeable and explain the lessons clearly. I have taken a class online (Zoom) and it was just as good as being in the classroom and I liked that I could take the class at home. No driving. The prices are reasonable. The staff is helpful and again I can't say enough about their smart teachers.
