My go to Happy tennis place in NYC! I LOVE Coach Greg and my only complaint is he can't be cloned. He is very popular because he is that incredible and booking in advance can be tough with school camps so flexibility and patience are a must. I have learned so much from Coach Greg in a few months and he is the absolute best. The entire staff and team is extremely friendly and nice. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Amazing experience - the club is beautiful (and perfectly air conditioned which I appreciate during this heat wave) and the instructors are incredible - so patient and obviously knowledgeable. Both my children have enjoyed summer camps here and have gained such a strong foundation in tennis that it motivated me to take lessons as well so I can play alongside them. Thankful for this experience and this club!

Our participants from the Summer Pre-College Program had a lot of fun at Sounds of Tennis. I could see that they were very engaged in the activity and some wanted to spend more time on the tennis courts. A very successful introduction for our beginner tennis plays and participants with more experience loved the opportunity to practice with their friends and peers.

If you're doing a clinic, don't expect too much detailed instruction — it's more about getting reps and playing with different people. It’s fun (or 0 fun depends on attitute of other players) for casual practice but less helpful if you’re looking for targeted feedback. On the other hand, private sessions can be incredibly effective — if you find the right coach. I’ve had sessions with Coach Mel (He is great, experienced and see through things.) where I improved very quickly thanks to clear, technical, and personalized guidance. That said, I’ve also encountered coaches who barely communicated or tailored anything, so it can be hit or miss. Private sessions are pricey, but totally worth it when you click with a good coach. As for the facility: not many people play pickleball here yet, but the staff is super friendly and supportive, which makes it a great overall experience.
