With over 500 men here it's well maintained. The staff are always cool. Always busy. 24/7 showers. Laundry service daily. Three good meals everyday served by volunteers. Any homeless shelters get 5 stars no matter what the conditions are. If there are issues I'll write about it here but they all get 5 stars just because they help and anything negative is simply the way it is. Thank YOU!

You can be assaulted anytime, anywhere (namely the bathroom- no cameras) and anybody is free to do so... I quote directly per DRM staff and experience (the "if it isn't on camera" part) Also they won't go into the bathroom while you are being assaulted to "see" anything or help you in any way. You have to call the cops to the DRM. One of the worst experiences ever, I wish I never went there. Oh and good luck getting housing through them.

I was recently paroled after four years of incarnation. While I was away my mother went to live in assisted living. I was paroled with nowhere to go. I stayed my 1st three days out at a couple different hotels. After those luxuries and my funds were exhausted, I found myself in desperate need of housing, as it was the end of December. I stayed my 4th night of freedom at Jesus Saves in Downtown Denver, needles to say, I was seriously skeptical of my chances of success and coming out my situation with anything positive. The next morning, I was told that I was being referred to the Rescue Mission on E48th Ave. I was transported there shortly after 5:30 the same evening. The difference was amazing. The cleanliness only was an extreme change. The staff was excellent and very friendly and willing to help. Over the next few weeks, I was able to find many resources and make an exit out of the shelter, at which time the staff and residents were happy and supportive of my progress in life. I would try to convince anyone who finds themselves in a situation were the are unhoused to seek shelter and assistance with the great people at the Denver Rescue Mission in E48th. They are excellent people there .

I recently had a phone interview with this specific location. Jeff was really sweet! The interview went well! He explained to me that they are FAITH DRIVEN and that he would keep me updated on everything including if I wasn't chosen to be hired. He also informed me that he would reach back out to me to schedule a on site interview. Well later that day, the overnight supervisor Shane reached out to me to schedule my on site interview. Shane was really sweet! The next day, my area was affected by a severe snow storm causing me to have to reschedule. I let Shane know and she was very understanding. She told me that she'd inform hr and they'd get back to me. Later that day a supervisor named Esgar reached out to reschedule. I tried to reschedule for a day where the snow storm had cleared but he told me they wanted me to start orientation that day so I had to schedule for the next day. I went ahead. The next day, my area was still being impacted by the storm. I informed Esgar of this explaining that I didn't want to put myself or others life at risk trying to drive during this severe snow storm. He said he would let everyone know and see what he could do about a reschedule. He told me that he appreciated me informing him of my reschedule. But then I never heard back from this job. It's been days and still nothing. Not a phone call, text or email. Y'all claim to be FAITH DRIVEN, y'all told me y'all would keep me informed no matter the outcome and haven't at all. I would've honestly preferred a "I'm sorry but we won't be able to reschedule". I couldn't even get that. I'm a faith driven individual and that's not faith like. I won't be working for this company. All I want is to be able to HELP PEOPLE and I will, just not through this company.
