Karla - manager was extremely rude. The rest of the staff was very nice. Manager refused to engage with me and walked away from me mid conversation. Didn’t attempt any level of customer service. She was dismissive and refused to even listen to me. Her employees who heard the conversation were even shocked at the behavior and lack of customer service. I have been a customer for a long time and would never spend a dime here again. The other manager crystal and associate Jennifer were very kind and nice but could do nothing since they didn’t want to override the manager. Unacceptable behavior from a manager.

I was inside of Dicks to do a return for some pants that I purchased inside the store. They didn’t fit me so I returned them . Paid CASH but they tried to give me a gift card. There return policy is how ever you pay will be the return. I am requesting that the store manager of DICK’S Sporting Goods Store #418 contact me immediately regarding a serious customer service issue involving Assistant Manager Carla #trash Today, my fiancé visited the store to return three pairs of sneakers, all unworn and well within the 90-day return window. Two of the pairs did not have boxes, but I’ve returned items without boxes at this same location before, so I advised him it would not be a problem. However, store staff refused to accept those returns, which while disappointing is within your discretion. What is NOT acceptable is the treatment he received regarding the third pair, which was in the original box. Carla claimed the shoes looked worn due to a crease, despite there being no visible wear on the bottom or elsewhere. I can confidently state these shoes were never worn. When I called the store to speak with a manager, I was initially told that the issue had been “discussed over the radio,” but no store manager was available, only the assistant. I was then transferred to Carla, who spoke over me, raised her voice, and was disrespectful and unprofessional. This mirrored how she treated my fiancé in-store, even though he is not confrontational and was simply trying to understand the situation. Let me be very clear: it is perfectly fine for a store to deny a return based on policy or judgment. But lying about the condition of the product and mistreating customers is unacceptable. I have already escalated this matter. But I do require the store manager to follow up appropriately about her behavior. Also, one of the returned shoes (the same style as this) was sent from from the DICK’S Discount Store in Kennesaw and did not come in a box, it LITERALLY came with a card explaining that. Not to mention, I have previously returned this exact same sneaker (just a different size) at this location without issue or a box. Carla, I urge you to check your security footage from July 26, 2025 when I returned the Glycerin 21s without a box and it was no problem. Denying something that came as is from your company discount store is NUTS. Not to mention the profiling my fiancée endured while in there (Carla lets not act crazy because its Lenox and he has dread, treat everyone equally). I didn't experience this at all and I shop there frequently, but I wont anymore. Carla is beyond repairable and is a walking liability for the company. I truly believe she needs to be demoted. And from what I am now seeing in other reviews, its clear as day.
