Mario is awesome for mixology 101 & 102! Fun classes with great instruction! You get to learn basic cocktails in 101 and in 102 specialty drinks with getting into techniques. His wife Sarah is also very nice, she runs other classes there too!

Took my first stained glass class ever at the Discovery Center with the instructor, Isabelle on 4/21/24. My daughter and I enjoyed our experience creating something beautiful to take home. The tools provided to use during the class were top notch. The soldering irons were older, but obviously effective. Isabelle was very knowledgeable and helpful. We definitely felt like we received our money’s worth. We were given a choice of at least 4 patterns to choose from for our design. The first image shows the cut glass pieces laid out on a standard sized piece of paper with the design underneath it for alignment. Two of the images that I attached were done during the foiling process. We did pay the additional fee to frame our creations to give them a finished look as seen in the final image.

I did this rafting camping trip with discovery center up to nicolette national park for a rafting trip. It was a real good time, meeting new people and having a fun adventure. I really recommend taking this trip if interested. It was seriously a highlight of the year.

Overpriced! Paid $35 to register for knitting class and then paid $25 for “materials” at the beginning of class but you don’t take any materials home. Didn’t know yarn and knitting sticks cost $25. Instructor look very unprofessional and unorganized throughout class. Don’t waste your money!

Bringing snacks and water is advised, although there may be designated eating areas onsite or nearby parks for picnics to extend the day’s outing. Groups with mixed ages should plan a balanced itinerary, mixing free exploration time for children with structured activities or workshops for older members. Supervision is essential, especially in hands-on areas, to ensure children’s safety and that items remain organized.
