I looked everywhere for anyone who was not going to be a scammer heck I almost went with that bigger crew of people at Scooter repair but after I got in touch with them they prove that they weren't trustworthy. So I ultimately sent a text so I can relatively say what i'm going to be there and then went to Steve's home. I was a little sad with how much I had to spend to fix up my ninebot but it was money well spent. The process was good and fine as I met with steve's wife and she had me write down a couple of pieces of information and basically had me signed my receipt so I can get scooter checked out and repaired. It took at most a week and a half before I got my scooter back. The repairs he saw that were needed were a new battery and a new break caliper. I can easily say that his service is completely worth it. As it was completely fine after I left with it. He was very helpful and his wife was very courteous. Even showned me someone in the area who could help me with the front tire as he doesn't really work with tires. And ever since then the scooter has been riding completely well. I even came back to him because I felt i messed it up by being in the rain for too long and instead of just asking for a price he tried to stand and analyze what's going on with it. He decided that it would just be best to wait it out and see what else could happen. But he wasn't able to do much because it wasn't really something that was showing up instead of taking my money and figuring it out an idea he just said to wait a little week and come back if there was actually any issues. He could have done a number of things but decided to be more respectable about it. Integrity like that it's a very important thing to have and I recommend everyone come to steve's home if they need a repair for their e bikes and e scooters

I am a DIY enthusiast and I always fix my bike by myself, but this time I couldn't change and regulate the shifter cable, so I went to The Bike Doc on a holiday weekend when all stores were closed, and the only open one wanted me to wait for 4 days for the repair. He worked on it as soon as I showed up, in front of me. I left with a fine tuned bike and payed a honest price for the job, plus we had a nice conversation while the repair was being done. I even got tips on good surf breaks in Florida. But the reason I tipped him well was not because of the surf tips, but for his availability and good service.

The Bike Doc is awesome! Did very solid work on my carbon fiber frame when nobody else could, at extremely reasonable rates. If you need quality work done on your bicycle quickly and cheaper than some other bike shop, whether a typical set of tune ups or complex carbon fiber patchwork, this is your guy! Steve is awesome. I purchased a bike on craigslist and brought it over for an inspection - he was thorough, fast, and incredibly fair with his price (he worked in the Virginia Key bike shop before starting up El BIke Doc). On top of that, he gave me a spare bike tube after finding out I didn't have one. I'm definitely going back for all future bicycle needs and suggest you do the same!
