My stay at this facility was a deeply disturbing and unsafe experience. I am writing this to warn others and to hold this organization accountable. During my time here, I experienced multiple instances of sexual assault, physical threats, and repeated vandalism to my car. My personal property was stolen on several occasions, not just by other residents, but also by the staff. The lack of security and oversight makes this place a dangerous environment for everyone. Beyond the immediate safety concerns, the facility's practices are profoundly unethical. This organization claims to help the unhoused, but in reality, it seems to profit by perpetuating the very crisis it is funded to solve. The environment here is designed to trap people in a cycle of dependency. There is no genuine support or resources for residents to secure housing, employment, or a new path forward. You are left worse off than when you arrived, with a high likelihood of ending up back here, which only benefits the organization's bottom line. What is happening here is not a solution to homelessness—it is an exploitation of a humanitarian crisis. This facility should be shut down, and the funding should be redirected toward meaningful, ethical solutions that genuinely help people. This place is, for all intents and purposes, a jail without bars. If any lawyers are interested in bringing light to the issues please send me an email. Thanks.

July 11, 2025. In the men's showers there's a client that bathes the dog in with the other men. He does it all the time. It stinks like hell as a result. Today the dog took a dump by the urinals. Picture attached. This is b.s. and totally unacceptable! The guy needs to be banned for 30 days. Sanitation nightmare and health hazard!

I filled the form to schedule donation pick up. The assistant that gave me a call back was ridiculously rude to me. She insisted that i should give her code for parking access which i don't have. She replied 'We will not just park on the street and pick up your donation'!? I got confused and i repeated to her I'm sure that if you park in my Neighbour hood parking, no body will make you an issue, i live in Coronado townhouse. Her answer was' We go to Coronado all the time and everyone gives me a code so give us a call back when you get one!' I am so angry and disaapointed at this point since i wanted to donate something and feel good about it but she was so unprofessional. She didn't even wanted to explain to me the process of donation, how will that work, how will it help people. I called my husband and i asked him do we have a code for parking, he said that is the first time he heard about it. So much about humanitarian work.

Here we are now close to 3 yrs at St. Teresa's. Unlike the namesake, there is no compassion here. Elevators are at non working status most of the time. This leaves tenants like myself since I use a wheelchair, housebound. Worse yet,the laundry facilities are not kept up and at same status as elevators. Most convenient elements at other apartment complexes are not the same status here. Pests are out of control here too. All that would make living here comfortable, is sadly missing here. I love the location of being convenient to the trolley and surrounding eateries are very good. Staff needs to be more compassionate and proactive of tenants common daily living status as to elevators, laundry facilities, and pests issues. Most tenants came from indigent circumstances. Common apartment conveniences would be greatly appreciated. 😉
