Forms is a very welcoming space for anyone even remotely curious about clay. Felicia is a fantastic teacher, who is supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to see people progress. She has built a strong sense of community that makes the studio feel like a home. I started four months ago with zero ceramics experience and now find myself coming multiple times a week, not just for the projects, but to relax and chat with others who are having fun creating. It’s a rare, true third place in San Diego. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a new creative outlet, or a way to get into flow, I highly recommend.

I started with a 4-week wheel course here in January, and now come in as a member/self-guided. I had previously done two other 6-week courses at another studio and after those courses I still didn’t feel comfortable with the basics- this one is so much more thorough! The classes are pretty small, and Felicia is patient and helpful. The pieces I made in this course were soooo much better than all of my others! Obviously you go to a pottery studio to actually do pottery, but the aesthetic of this space is a huge bonus. So beautiful!! I’ve also done the Wine and Wheel class here with a gf and it was so fun. Love love Forms!

I had an awesome experience at Forms Ceramic Studio! I took ceramics in high school but haven’t really touched it since then, and this place was so warm and welcoming that it felt like coming home. One of the instructors, Kyle, was absolutely spectacular — patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging every step of the way. The studio has a great vibe, with fun events throughout the week that make it easy to get involved and meet other creative people. It’s such a relaxing and calming environment, and the best part is you leave with beautiful pieces that are both functional and artistic. I highly recommend this place to anyone( especially locals), whether you’re brand new to ceramics or just looking to reignite your creative spirit.

This pottery studio is super cute. They offer a wide range of classes / open studio options depending on your skill level/familiarity. The instructor is so knowledgeable and really friendly in her teaching! For brand new to the wheel students (me!!) she really sets you up for success so you end up with a great piece or two at the end of class. I can’t wait to come back for wine nights! Really excited to have this place in our north PB community!

I gifted a pottery wheel class at Forms in Pacific Beach for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience! We were lucky enough to have a more personal session with our instructor, Felicia, as part of the group had to cancel last-minute due to an emergency. As total beginners, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Felicia was incredibly patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable—she made us feel comfortable right away. By the end of the class, we were not only proud of what we made, but also totally hooked! We’re already talking about signing up for the intermediate class. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a unique and creative date idea or gift experience. Can’t wait to go back!
