I called the administrative office because I am still missing my security deposit return from a December move out about two weeks ago. They told me accounting never received anything from the apartment management. I called again today to be told the same thing. I then requested to speak to the district manager and was promptly redirected. After a few beebs the phone went silent and the call dropped. I then called the admin office again. Just to be ignored. (I literally just spoke to the lady and now she is actively ignoring my calls because I'm "difficult".) I tried three more times without anyone picking up. I then called the Loretta. Apartment management said that the district manager needs to approve it to be sent out and that this manager was just hired. Great! So the district manager who doesn't pick up the phone is in charge of making decisions over my money. Demand letter incoming.

I signed a Lease agreement around 2019 at the Live Oak Trails Apartments and within a few months, myself and three kids started getting sick from the toxic mold that was growing inside / outside the walls. I took photos of the black mold and reported the problem to management and the Staff set up a dehumidifier, which did not help. I soon realized why the rent was so cheap. The building is infested with roaches and I took photos. I believe that I was tricked into signing a lease that I thought was a great deal because I was not warned by the Property Manager Valencia Gibson that the previous resident moved out due to the severe mold issues. After I addressed the issues, I was given an MOLD ADDENDUM - stating that I could no longer complain. 2023 - I am a single parent and cannot afford to move, even though my family is still having respiratory illnesses from the ongoing mold issues. We need help!
