This is our fun little stop in Berkeley. There are plenty of board games, miniatures and TTRPG paraphernalia. Three private gaming rooms are available in the back and are decorated in the sci-fi and fantasy themes. There are also vending machines offering snacks and beverages. The staff is friendly and always made us feel welcomed. We look forward to visiting again and again.

Great game place! Warhammer and citadel paint here. Plus EVERY kind of game and game trinkets you can think of. They have game nights it looks like and I saw people deep in various games on the tables set up the afternoon I was there. A giant communal puzzle on a table. Coloring books, mad libs, game related accessories. This place is the real deal. I don't think they have video games (but I could be wrong). This place caters to a different type of game. Magic, Pokemon, DnD, role playing, hexagonal dice, etc . You get the idea. Cool place!!

Fantastic variety of games and fantastic staff. My vague request of a fun collaboration game with mystery elicited an enthusiastic array of games with detailed explanations, with various - with teens who like "x" they might like this, or if there is a side take in ages, this game might be better. We chose Forbidden Jungle. For a quick fun game, they had great descriptions also, but the description of Gloom won out. Not our usual genre of game, but they convinced us to try it out. Can't wait to play the games!

UNSAFE. AVOID. Abusive and scarring content inside. This store had a book about bestiality openly displayed in a section full of disturbing content...why. After stumbling across it, I felt physically sick and unsettled the rest of the day. I can’t imagine how a more vulnerable person would feel walking in. I brought it up to someone on staff, and to their credit, they immediately looked at the book and looked genuinely disturbed. I gently warned them it’s a triggering content. Still, it’s hard for people to support local businesses if they aren’t safe spaces for community. I truly hope this was an oversight and that they re-evaluate what they’re putting on shelves. I’d gladly update or remove this review if I hear positive news about this topic. I don't mind elaborating either. I want people of all backgrounds, and experiences in our community to be able to go visit this local spot!
