1st night in NYC, got to see Wicked and it was fantastic!! Wicked has been playing at the Gershwin theater for over 20 years and it's a great theater, so much history and amazing scenery! Had a seat in the center orchestra section row P and the view was very good 👍 no obstructions and the people in front weren't blocking me, it was a great seat where you could see everything clearly. The time clock dragon is so amazing and the set were incredible, I've loved this musical for a long time and finally being able to see it was amazing! Highly recommend everyone see it!

I surprised my girlfriend with tickets to Wicked on 8/15/25. The student discount is fantastic. The person who gave us our tickets was very friendly. I wish I got the name of the man at the concession stand. He had curly hair and was on the taller side. He was extremely pleasant and patient and gave us some great recommendations. The only gripe I had was when it came to our seating. Charles and the other usher (another older fellow with glasses and bald) placed us in the wrong seats. Then refused to correct it. Charles told us “Go to those people and tell them to move.” We stood there perplexed. As my girlfriend and I have a combined experience in the movie theater seating of over 10 years, we would never tell a customer to fix their own issue when it’s our job to do so. That was poor ushering and reserved seating on his part. Other than that, the show was amazing and we had a great time. Looking forward to coming again!

My first Broadway show and I chose to watch Wicked at the Gershwin. Being from London I was used to the West End theatres that creak with age and infamous for cramped seats and medieval toilet facilities. However the Gershwin Theatre is the complete opposite with big and opulent spaces and comfortable seats. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The staging was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the show itself. And now I can say “Yes … I did go to a Broadway Musical”. Bucket list item achieved!
