Called and spoke to Ken, inquiring about getting a tune up on my bike. I'm seriously novice, just wanted to get a basic check and service since i just got my bike out again after a long time in storage. I told him there's nothing wrong, I have been riding it, just wanted a ballpark on cost, and he refused to give me any info. No starting rate, no max rate, nothing, just kept being dodgy. No worries mate, I'll go elsewhere.

I had 2 separate and very frustrating experiences with Global Bikes that I believe reflect deceptive and untrustworthy business practices. On a Tuesday, I called the Chandler location (spoke to Nick) and was quoted a “sale” price of $450 for a specific bicycle. When I arrived an hour later, Nick says that the price tag of $450 was a mistake. He refused to honor the price. Just a few days later, I found another bike listed on their website on “sale”. I called the Ahwatukee location to confirm availability, only to be told by Thomas that the online price was incorrect and would not be honored. This happened twice in one week, at two different locations, with two different employees, and two different bikes. That’s not a one-time error — it’s a pattern. Whether it’s intentional or just sloppy, it feels like classic bait-and-switch behavior. I did end up purchasing a different bike from them out of necessity, but I absolutely would not recommend this store to anyone. There are plenty of other bike shops that are more honest and reliable with their pricing. Shop elsewhere.
