We love Goldie’s. We live less than 5 minutes away. Tonight, unfortunately was our first big miss there. Granted, we came on a Friday at 6pm, we knew it would be a longer wait for a table of 5. When we arrived, the hostess let us know it would be a 45 minute wait, no big deal. The 45 minutes went by and when my wife checked in with the host stand, they let us know they could seat us but it could be up to 2 hours before we got our food. Not sure what happened in the kitchen, but to wait 45 minutes, then be informed it would be an additional 2 hours for food (we’ve got kids) is a pretty big disappointment in communication. A blessing in disguise as we got to try a new local pizza spot which was great. We’ll still be back to Goldie’s, just earlier next time!

Pleasantly surprised! My husband and I came on Easter (also my birthday this year,) and idk what we were expecting. We didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a couple of drinks and some food. So we came into Goldie's and I'll happily say I'd be thrilled to come back. The beer cheese and pretzels were SO good, as well as the Hot Sicilian Pizza. Amber is so wonderful and so kind, in spite of working on Eastewally. Made us feel welcomed and was super knowledgeable about the menu and specials. We appreciate Goldie's, and we will be sure to come back when we're back up this way.

Easy sports bar! Dozens of very large TVs show any American sports game. Staff is amazing and easy to chat with. This spot is a staple of Scottsdale, having been here for 30-ish years! It is nice to, now, take my son to this spot - I remember coming here when I was young. There's a game room dedicated to kiddos. Again, the staff is outstanding!! Playing and joking around with my son and overall making you feel like you're family. They have a 21+ area upstairs with plenty of things to play like billiards, darts, shuffleboard, etc. The biggest issue (lately) is upper management, which makes random and nonsensical rules or firings of fantastic staff. Came in On a Friday night after my game figured there would be some people in there I mean I'd Friday night but outside of a few couples it was empty. The place itself was nice definitely has a lot of potential. Pool tables upstairs had no chalk so that wasn't great considering that's what me and my boy were there to do. But darts and a few video games so I'm sure whenever it's packed it's probably a lot of fun. If you're going with your girl or friends for a spot to watch sports or mma and eat/drink the bartenders were quick and the drinks were priced well so I'll go back on a ufc night or game of the week to see how it is then.
