I give it a 5 star rating, because it's only a mile from my house. The other reason is because it has 4 Pickleball and 4 Tennis courts. Probably a little less known place. When I googled Pickleball courts near me, G.R. Herberger did not come up in the top search positions. I like that they rotate courts out of courtesy and etiquette. You will find me there playing some time in the near future. ~Rob

Careful not to miss the park entrance off of Indian School Rd. You won't be able to make a u turn. Pickle ball and tennis courts are here. Plenty of people jogging around and on the courts. These courts have 2 tennis walls. Great practice!

Tennis courts in good, but not great condition. Certainly acceptable for outdoor courts. Other players are respectful and pickleball rarely interferes on the tennis courts despite their proximity. Lights come on around 6. Ample parking is available

Love playing pickleball here. Lots of friendly people and easy to jump into games even if you're a single. 4 pickleball courts and 2 tennis courts.

There are some trees nearby to keep the court shaded, and also there's the embankment (about a 10-ish foot high slope that might help to block some wind (?) and also to give it some additional shade depending on where the sun is at. Nearby, I spotted a small bench and a water fountain. I like how the court is nicely fenced as well to keep the ball inside, and this way you don't have to keep chasing it. The downsides is that it's right next to the volleyball court, so it can get loud if both courts are full.
