I’m only giving it four stars because there was only like four slides. However, Theres a bunch of climbing equipment. No restrooms or water fountains. I came on Easter Sunday, and there was a bunch of families cooking out. A bunch brought their own grills. No lake. I would recommend this park for any Pokémon go players.

I love this park. I went out there this week to check out whether the splash pad was on. Here's what I love: lots of open grass. It has bathrooms, large playground and a splash pad. Hours of splashpad make sense for small kids who are active early. And in the grassy areas there are beautiful trees and picnic tables . The neighborhood surrounding it is also beautiful and quiet. Things I dont love: The drug users acting erratic around the bathrooms making them feel unsafe for families. Homeless people sleeping around parts of park. Only one very small shade near splash pad. Emergency water shut off button is suppose to have a cover which is broken. The button is at kid height and easily accessible. It says if you push it only the city can turn the water back on so I imagine that's why the splash pad got reviewed for only sometimes working. They need to replace the cover or make it up higher. Splash pad rules and times doesn't give an exact start and end date. Just general "end of may". Its a good park, but these areas could use a little attention or rethinking.

We love the new splash pad. I wish there was a parking section that stretched over near the play grounds though! Also, they need to add additional sun coverage to the cement seating blocks. There is only 1 small section with shade. Those seats get so hot, we don't even have a place to sit. Other than that, it's a great fun spot!
