Just went to Grant Skatepark for the first time and was super impressed. The flow is smooth, and there’s a great mix of features—ledges, rails, banks, transitions—something for every style. Plus, the downtown backdrop makes it even better.
Bliss Skate Shop
Let’s keep this one short and sweet. This park is great for every level of skater. Smooth concrete, a few marble ledges and well planed obstacle placement. The different obstacles will give you a variety of skating depending on what you like. However, the park is geared towards street skating but there are some transition obstacles (see the photos). You can flow through this park and hit a sweet line or just choose what you’re skating and go from there. The park isn’t visible from the street but it is easy to find. There’s no parking specifically for the park so, you’ll have to park on the road or pay for parking. And it ain’t cheap. Nonetheless, a must skate if your in the Windy City. As always, skate Fakie but, keep it real. (This review is solely the opinion of my own, others may see it differently)

This is an awesome facility and great use of taxpayer dollars. Unfortunately it is overrun by people smoking weed. The city - mayor and alderperson need to put some serious thought into the marijuana usage in this park- what could be a great public good especially for children/teens/all ages in the loop and vicinity area- 3rd 4th and 42nd ward residents is being co-opted by the noxious second hand weed and cigarette smoking pollution. City should enforce the public smoking laws on the books or create a tobacco/potsmokers areas that contain the fumes like at the las vegas airport.

Good park, decent layout. City needs to blow the park off sometimes, some broken glass and pebbles all over. Cracky homeless vibes, but still a great park. Locals seem to all be beasts, and transition really well between obstacles.
