This is a review of the bakery. Every year I have ordered cupcakes for my daughters birthday from the Anderson Mill HEB location. They have always been good with no issues. This year I ordered from this location. I ordered a week in advance, confirmed everything was good and the pickup time. When I came to pick them up nothing had been made. They had my order form, and had just ignored it. They lady at the counter asked if anyone had called me, and kept saying it would be really expensive??? No one ever called, nor was I told I would be called. I ended up buying a pre-made cake instead (with no kind of discount offered). STAY AWAY from the bakery.

I have tried to find a way to leave a review for Kayla in the flower dept the old fashioned way...but since I am not much for QR codes and want to make sure she gets her kudos, here we are 🙂 I went in a few months ago to buy a bouquet for a coworker that was going thru a hard time. I had a very specific color scheme in mind and what I wanted to convey. Kayla was extremely helpful in opening a fresh box to help me find the perfect flowers. She took the time to cut them and listened to my feedback about how they should be placed. She was patient and kind and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience for wanting to be a part of the process. When my coworker received the bouquet and flowers her response told me I was able to speak from my heart like I hoped to. Thank you, Kayla, for helping me to be there and let her know she was not alone and that we cared. I hope you get the props you deserve for this review. Sorry it took so long to post it. But you deserve the raise or promotion or reward for embodying what I love about my HEB.

Carla (a personal shopper I met in the produce section) saw that my hands were full and offered me something to put my groceries in. I thought I wouldn’t need a basket but naturally I underestimated the stuff I needed and Carla was there to help me in the home stretch!! Rob (who was working the self check out at the time) anticipated my needs before I even knew I had them. He spotted the 25% sticker on the meat I was purchasing and came over and applied the discount. I thought it was going to naturally be applied so it was nice to know someone was looking out for me!!
