I also tried an intriguing Indian gin and a mushroom-infused rum — which came together in what’s easily the most layered daiquiri I’ve had in 2025 so far. It opened smooth and slightly sweet like an añejo, but the aged rum beautifully mellowed the tequila’s usual bite at the finish. Just a really elegant, well-balanced drink. The fish & chips were great too — the batter kept the inside juicy without letting any grease seep through. All in all, a thoughtful and surprising little spot.

Honestly this just seemed like something was off the entire night. Took over 20 minutes to get a drink order in. Took another 20 minutes to get a food order in. After the waitress said the restaurant is “known for its burgers” and convinces two of the theee guests to order burgers she proceeds to come out another 15 minutes later to tell us they ran out of ground beef but bought more so now they’re starting to cook them and they’ll be ready in 8 minutes. We decided to tell her we want our order to go. 15 minutes later we walk out of the restaurant with our orders to go. Pretty disappointed with the whole experience but I can understand you might have a fluke night. Customer service was poor and you should make sure your customers are taken care of if you screw up like this. That didn’t happen. Oh and I didn’t get plastic ware in my to go bag, and I didn’t order the burger. I guess I’ll eat the sirloin steak tartar served with an egg yolk with my hands.
