Absolutely stellar experience- it was everyone’s first time and we all agreed that our meal was a 10/10. The cocktails were fantastic and surprisingly strong! 3/5 Stars We visited Hula’s for a date night and arrived shortly after 6 PM. To our surprise, the restaurant wasn’t very busy, which made us hopeful for a relaxed, intimate dinner. We were greeted by the hostess upon arrival and chose to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartenders left much to be desired when it came to customer service. While they were efficient in taking our orders and setting up our place settings quickly, they lacked personality and engagement, something we feel really contributes to the overall dining experience. The atmosphere itself felt flat. The music was barely audible, and combined with the low energy of the staff, the vibe felt more dull than inviting. As for the food, we started with the pork pot stickers and ahi poke with fried wonton chips. Both were good, but nothing memorable. For entrees, I had the fish ceviche, which was also good, though I think pairing it with wonton chips instead of rice might have elevated the dish a bit more. My husband ordered the ahi prepared pan-seared macadamia style, and he absolutely loved it, that was definitely the highlight of our meal. Overall, Hula’s was just okay for a date night. It wasn’t bad by any means, but the lack of ambiance and enthusiastic service made it feel underwhelming. Perhaps the energy picks up later in the evening, but during our visit, it felt like the place was just going through the motions. We’re not looking for a party vibe, but a little more warmth and hospitality would’ve gone a long way

Great service, nice atmosphere, good food, and drinks will definitely be back. We went for happy hours and was really enjoyable it was my birthday server actually listening to us toasting. We never told them it was my birthday, so the ice cream dessert was a surprise. Nice touch we'll be back.
