I recently went through their ASA 101 program and I can’t say enough good things about the ISC. The instructors, Spencer and Sloan, did an excellent job explaining the concepts both in classroom and on the boat. Not only was it a ton of fun, but I walked away a confident sailor after only four days of instruction/sailing. If you want to learn to sail, consider Island Sailing Club’s ASA 101 course. Highly recommended.

I have really wanted to get back into sailing from my younger years of dingy sailing and Island Sailing is the best way to get back on the water period, I have taken the 101 and 103 and also a member of the club which is shockingly easy to take sailboats out when I want. If you are interested in sailing or getting back into it this is the place! Great boats too, well maintained and kept with pride! By far the most affordable easy way to get out and sail

Took the ASA 101 course May 2025 and do not have any reservations in recommending Island Sailing to anyone. The instructor was great, with plenty of experience and the patience of a saint. Went in with no experience and came out with the confidence to control a 22' sailboat. Looking forward to taking more classes in my sailing journey.
