Chris is an awesome captain and Charlie was really helpful with doing everything he could to make life easier and to allow us to just focus spearfishing. They both shared a lot of helpful information about hunting the fish we were targeting. I learned a lot and had a blast getting my first yellowtail. They did everything they could to put us on fish, to help us be successful, and to make it a fun experience. I will definitely be doing many more trips with Just Get Wet in the future.

I just got back from a 2 day dive charter with Just Get Wet on their liveaboard boat The Escapade and I could not be more stoked!! Captain Chris and first mate Gretchen took us out to San Clemente island and put us on incredibly fishy spots. We saw tons of action with white sea bass, yellowtail, and calicos throughout the trip and I got my PB white sea bass! The cherry on top was the incredible hot meals and even hotter showers that we came back to after each of our dives. Can't wait to get back out with these guys!!

I recently went on a half day spearfishing charter with just get wet and I had the time of my life!! I cannot recommend these guys enough. If you are visiting San Diego looking for a fun way to spend the day this is it. Doesn’t matter if you are just getting into spearfishing/freediving or you are a seasoned pro, these guys know what they are doing. The boat was amazing and I was super comfortable and felt right at home. Chris the captain was so kind and knowledgeable and helpful and I had a wonderful time talking to him. Gretchen was the dockhand and my guide and she got in the water with me and helped me and showed me the fish and showed me good spots to go. She was also very kind and knowledgeable and helpful. Gretchen also got some amazing pictures and videos of me. I cannot wait until I’m back I will be going again. I went to their shop after my charter and they have a really cool store too with all the gear you could possibly ever need. Thank you Chris and Gretchen and the just get wet team, you all are doing amazing things for the spearo and freedive community!

The whole crew was awesome. I signed up not knowing anything outside of free diving or anyone on board and immediately was built up, educated, and warmly welcomed. Charlie was an amazing teacher and guide. All the class members came out successfully spearing our first fish—and then some! 10/10

Had my Wave 1 class with Brittani and Viv. Great class and a lot of fun. I didn’t think I’d dive as deep or feel as comfortable in the water as I did under their tutelage. Can’t wait to join the spear fishing class and make my way to Wave 2. Highly recommend a class or dropping by the shop. The staff is awesome.
