My mom treated my 17 year old daughter and me with a Net Zero excursion for our birthdays. We experienced a magical day with the compassionate owner and crew. So fortunate to spend well over an hour with a near shore humpback whale that was bubble net feeding. She was surrounded by thousands of very active common dolphins. Southern California is home to the largest common dolphin population in the world. We really enjoyed watching them throughout most of our 3 hours on the water. We also saw a huge Mola Mola and rafts of sea lions. All of the sea birds also a beautiful sight. The experience could not have been better and can’t wait to return for one of their diving expeditions. Thank you!!

They were very kind and professional. We only went on Pelagic expedition but we saw so many animals we could have hoped to see. It was amazing to see a large pod of dolphins playing with us throughout the day. I can't imagine how many there were but they swam and jumped around the boat for over half an hour. We saw both common and bottlenose dolphins, all moving in different ways. You could hear them singing and talking! If you see Vellela often, you will have a better chance of seeing Mola Mola. They float to the surface and can be seen from the boat. The sea lions also looked very relaxed in the dock.

My granddaughter found this company on Instagram and was following it for a while and chose this exciting trip for her 17th birthday. It was amazing. Our crew was the best and very informative. We saw a humpback whale up close many times and a giant Mola mola fish, and least I forget , thousands and thousands of dolphins up close and personal. What a fantastic experience and company. Highly recommend.

I went out this past weekend with Net Zero Expeditions and had an amazing experience! Manolo and the crew were kind, professional, and provided a wealth of information on all the animals we encountered. They took safety very seriously and were respectful and mindful of the guests as well as the animals. On our trip, we saw two makos, a sunfish, a fin whale, pods of dolphins, and a very quick encounter (from the boat) with a 12+ foot great white shark! Wonderful experience all around!

An unforgettable experience! The crew was not only professional but also passionate and respectful of the wildlife. The guide’s explanations were clear and captivating, making the outing even more enriching. The whales were shy, but the guides extended the tour time to give us a better chance to see them. I highly recommend this tour to all nature and ocean lovers. A unique moment that I’ll never forget!
