Kelly's class was awesome! I was fortunate to have a very small class size, but I suspect her dedication to each student would be similar in a larger setting. She is super knowledgeable, supportive, and generous with her supplies. Kelly works with you at whatever level you are, and is flexible in her teaching to accommodate her students skill levels and interests. She was also able to help me work thru where I was 'stuck' on a few pieces. Her depth of experience, fantastic studio, and great personality are a wonderful combination! Take a class, you'll love it!!

Kelly Williams is a great instructor for this unique type of art -- painting with wax! My session with her wasn't just about painting and creating. It was about understanding the emotional layers that I brought to the process. She helped me see so much more than just colors on a board. I was able to process some things I was going through and express them through the artistic process. I walked away with two beautiful pieces of art and I had never painted with wax before. Definitely go to one of her workshops for an in-depth artistic experience. No experience necessary.

She follows the process of each student and with a solid background in psychology and art, helps students find a voice in art. Her art is displayed in local galleries and shows.

Kelly's weekend encaustic workshop allowed me to explore this completely new to me medium in a comfortable, encouraging environment. Kelly has a wealth of knowledge and is willing to share. She met me where I was (absolute ground zero).
