Wonderful art studio! So so welcoming of all skill levels and new people. I have taken their figure drawing course and the oil painting class and both were phenomenal. My first day vs last day of each class showed amazing improvement over just six weeks. I cannot recommend them enough.

Intro to Watercolor with Ryan was perfect. He’s both an incredible artist and teacher. He constantly multiplied my knowledge and skill. There is a lot of 1-on-1 time and targeted advice. Here are a few pieces I would’ve never thought to try, let alone execute, without Ryan’s support.

We had a great time at our water color sketch booking class. This was my 4th class at high low and I can't recommend it enough. All the teachers I've met are kind, professional, and extremely skilled artists. It's a pleasure to work with them and I'll definitely be back for more.

Take the Introduction to Color Theory class! You won't regret it. Ryan was a kind, thorough, and talented teacher. His calm demeanor creates a relaxing classroom environment, and after day 1, I nerded out about color theory for an hour to my partner.😅 This class will help you in so many different ways in your life that you won't even realize. I initially was drawn to take the class to understand color foundations for painting, but since taking this class a few months ago, I have applied color theory to not only my painting, but to home gardening, fashion, home deorating, painting walls, graphic design, and photography. You will begin to see how colors interact in your everyday life, and I promise you will begin to have a new fascination and appreciation for color. By the end of the class, I was confident in learning how to mix any color to achieve the desired color I was looking for. Each class we worked on building our own personal color wheel (pictured here) and then we got to do a color matching exercise which was really fun each time. On our last day of class, we got to do a still life painting to apply all the color mixing techniques we learned. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning how to understand color. Painting has been a real joy since taking this class. This was also my first ever art class as an adult, and I didnt feel out of place at all. If you have an interest to learn, High Low Art Space is a safe and welcoming place for you. If i had endless money, I would sign up for every class. Thank you, Ryan!

I just finished my first class here and I’m already signed up for the next one! Sign up asap because the spaces fill up fast! I really appreciated the 1:1 time with the instructor, Chai. He’s super knowledgeable and his advice really changed how I think through drawing a pose. It’s also such a fun and inviting studio. I felt very welcome and excited to meet other art folks!
