This artist loft claims to be "always inclusive and always open minded" but when my friend was inquiring as a tenant, they were very selective for spurious reasons. Their justification for declining his inquiry as an artist was that they do not wish to have competing business in the building when they currently have similar businesses. Good luck!

The drummer, Seth, who plays in Health&Beauty has a space here so this is mostly where we rehearse. Its a great place to rehearse. There is an archery range in this building as well as a boutique dog store and the vending machine has Mountain Dew. One time at the top of the stairs there was a stool with a plate of cookies on it and a sign that said "Please Eat!" So i ate one and it was great. Now every time i walk up the stairs i feel a little spark of hope that at the top there will be a stool with a plate of free cookies, but there never is. I heard they sold this building and everyone is worried that the KAC will be closed and the building turned into condos, but i think they're worried over nothing. Why would anyone want to make condos when they could have an arts center?

The Kimball Arts Center has some incredible spaces and a wonderful community. I was so excited to be a part of it but unfortunately, they don't allow musicians to rent out their space. Will be back for Orkenoy though :)
