Started by myself early at sunrise. Joined by Kevyn, Sarah, Rhan and Paul. Dunking with worms that Sarah brought. Also used salmon eggs and trout boat but no fish. Had a group about a dozen teenagers enjoying brunch and a swim off the dock although No Swimming signs posted on the Dock. Met Gabe who came by fly fishing. So I thought I try it too but we both didn’t get a strike. We also had doughnuts, sandwich, musubi and ahi poke! A beautiful day!

This is my favourite spot for freshwater fishing. Gorgeous lake washington and the view of Mt Rainier 🌋 You can catch Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass and variety of sun fishes. There is a restroom within 2 minutes walk.

WOW! This place is gorgeous! Sure there are tons of houses by this area that you can't afford, but you know what? It's free to come here! Much easier if you have a car of course, but if you walk all the way here, there are tons of staircases you can access --albeit still very steep. BUT once you make it here, it's a treasure trove to discover! Bruce Lee fun fact: Bruce used to meditate here occasionally.

I really love the view from this place.  I make a point to visit here at least one time, each year I was inspired to take the pictures posted with this review from observing sunrise from the Summer Solstice of 2021 - my most recent visit. Looking forward to gathering for my annual tradition, soon

Do not drink water from this lake. Do not eat fish from this lake. Local wastewater -- WW -- treatment plant filters & dumps water into this lake as part of its usual operation. Not all WWTPs have the ability to filter, clean all known pollutants because of the high cost to target each specific pollutant, chemical, carcinogen, etc. Stuff this WWTP is likely failing to filter: . Microplastics . Chemicals from medications including meds which contain male, female, and other hormones. People dump meds down the pipes . Chemicals from cosmetics dumped into toilets by anyone who doesn't know this isn't allowed Over time, some pollutants concentrate in the lake since they are resistant to decay. And these concentrations end up in the fish, in drinking water in the lake. Stay safe by not ingesting your catch nor drinking lake water. Filtering or boiling lake water does not eliminate the above pollutants. Just don't drink it! Why should you trust me? I'm an environmental engineer.
