Here's what people think of Legacy Church Disc Golf Course
As of recent, Legacy Church Disc Golf Course holds a 4-star rating based on 2 reviews.
User reviews of Legacy Church Disc Golf Course reveal mixed experiences that highlight both positive aspects and areas needing improvement. Positive comments frequently mention the course's accessibility and the opportunity it provides for casual practice. Players appreciate that it is a free and open venue with a relaxed environment where people can hone their disc golf skills without pressure. The scenery around the church grounds received moderate praise for being pleasant in an urban setting. However, many critical reviews point out several shortcomings, such as poorly maintained baskets with loose cages, lack of tee pads, and insufficient or non-existent signage and wayfinding, which can make navigation difficult without external help like the UDisc app. The terrain is noted to be dry, and amenities on site are minimal. Some users feel the course is quite basic and that better options exist in Boulder, like Harlow and Valmont, which offer more developed facilities. Overall, while the course is valued for providing a free, accessible space for disc golf, users hope for future improvements in course maintenance, signage, and amenities to enhance the playing experience.

This is a course listed on the PDGA website. It's a nice 9 hole course on a church property built by Eagle Scouts for a project. There is a QR code to download their map. A super cool thing is that they cite an option to borrow discs if needed, that is way friendly! The tee pad locations aren't obvious, though that can give you some flexibility to add or subtract difficulty or distance. The unnumbered baskets are shorter, so you have to adjust slightly and have to make sure you're aiming for the right one. I went for the wrong one for #4 & #7 on my 1st visit. This can give you alternative holes for a 2nd lap. The distances mentioned are 90-440'. It's worth a visit if you're looking for low key or change of pace course. Kudos to this church! BTW, it's not a park, but there is no disc golf course option for Google maps yet.
